Program Committee

Rashanna Moss chairs the Program Committee, which promotes the Foundation’s mission and engages people with the cause. Learn more about our mission and program here or email

Born and raised in Houston, TX Rashanna lived an active lifestyle filled with sports while attending Duchesne Academy.  Her focus was tennis starting at the age of five and competing through her freshman year of college.  Her passion for sport/fitness led to an academic pursuit in sports as well.  Rashanna attended Penn State University for both her BA and MS in Kinesiology focusing in Sports Psychology.  She then moved to Portland, OR to work for Nike where she found a new and heightened appreciation for health and fitness.  Always willing to try something new, she constantly searched for the perfect workout routine to maximize her fitness level and physique.  It was not until moving to Nashville, TN that she discovered Pure Barre.  Her cautious attitude made her skeptical of the technique’s effectiveness, but after one month of consistent sessions she could no longer deny the efficiency and effectiveness of the Pure Barre workout.  Rashanna became a Pure Barre teacher and shortly thereafter opened her first studio in Austin, TX.  With three studios and strong community involvement, it was eventually time to support an organization that aligned with the business.  ARF came at just the right time and has been a great fit for Rashanna’s interest and the pure barre community.
