Welcome to the Andy Roddick Foundation
The Andy Roddick Foundation celebrates the moments when children find that thing that makes them curious, that makes them dream, that brings them comfort. Like the moment when Andy picked up his first racquet, and his world got so much bigger.
But too many children never have a moment like that. And if they do find that thing, they don’t have the means to pursue it.
The Andy Roddick Foundation exists to help more children discover their passions. Whether through our handcrafted six-week summer learning program, overnight spring break camp and family nights, or our community investments and advocacy, we take the time children spend outside the classroom and turn it into real opportunities.
Putting them face to face with scientists, chefs and artists. Finding that thing they're passionate about. That’s the moment we want—over and over again.
Letters From Our Kids
We create new chances for children to grow in literacy, STEM, art and sports — all during months and times of day when statistics show they’re typically most at risk and falling behind.
With the Austin Independent School District and our partners, we provide high quality enrichment for children every day after the bell.
Each spring we take 4th and 5th graders on a three-day, two-night camping trip. For many, it's their first overnight experience away from home.
We’ve handcrafted a free, six-week program to keep children mentally and physically active during the summer.
Focusing on the Whole Child
It’s not just about academics. It’s not just about athletics. Our children not only learn how to do better in school, they find new ways to ignite their passion — and to engage in learning and life.
We help children understand how the world works and how to solve problems.
We help children know how they feel and how other people feel.
We help children stay physically fit and healthy.
