School's out for the summer, but learning shouldn’t take a vacation, too.
On average, students are less active, less productive, and lose at least two months of academic skills during the “summer slide.”
That’s why at the Andy Roddick Foundation, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom.
Our afterschool and summer programs encourage students to aim high and dream big. Because this summer is the perfect time for students to explore their curiosities and ignite their passions.
Letters From Our Kids
We create new chances for children to grow in literacy, STEM, art and sports — all during months and times of day when statistics show they’re typically most at risk and falling behind.
With the Austin Independent School District and our partners, we provide high quality enrichment for children every day after the bell.
Each spring we take 4th and 5th graders on a three-day, two-night camping trip. For many, it's their first overnight experience away from home.
We’ve handcrafted a free, six-week program to keep children mentally and physically active during the summer.
Focusing on the Whole Child
It’s not just about academics. It’s not just about athletics. Our children not only learn how to do better in school, they find new ways to ignite their passion — and to engage in learning and life.
We help children understand how the world works and how to solve problems.
We help children know how they feel and how other people feel.
We help children stay physically fit and healthy.
