Take a Brain Break!

Brain breaks are quick, structured breaks that provide opportunities for kids and teens to regain focus, usually through physical movement (i.e., getting the wiggles out) or a calming activity, such as deep breaths. These short breaks should only take a few minutes and help young people feel refreshed and ready to learn. This tip sheet provides a few different types of brain breaks to try!
