A Message from Andy Roddick and Richard Tagle: We Stand in Solidarity Against Institutional Racism

“It is important for us to say firmly and unequivocally that we stand in solidarity against institutional racism in all its forms, particularly in education and opportunities for children. We are family.

”The Andy Roddick Foundation exists for the very purpose of combating the devastating effects of institutional racism on children of color and their families. We wake up every day to work with our community to expand opportunities for young people to learn, thrive and succeed. Right now, we re-commit ourselves to combating the impact of racism with high-quality afterschool and summer learning programs that empower the human spirit.

”At the Andy Roddick Foundation, we know that all children deserve to grow up in a world where they have endless opportunities to realize and achieve their fullest potential. We will not rest, and we will not stop being part of creating that world. Because they can do anything.”
