Before joining the Foundation, JJ served as executive director of the Barton Springs Conservancy and director of Development and Capital Campaign at Creative Action, a grantee of the Foundation. In addition, she worked as director of Major Gifts at Seminary of the Southwest and director of Admissions and Development at Good Shepherd Episcopal School. She has over 20 years of experience working with non-profits in development, community relations and event production.

Local Austinite and University of Texas (at Austin) alumni. Former 2nd/3rd grade teacher for 11 years who's passion is in educating others. In my free time, I teach spin (indoor cycling) classes and love to be out adventuring whether that be hiking, biking, camping, backpacking or canoeing. Anything outdoors and near the water has my name all over it.

Born and raised in northern Chicago. Spent the last 10 years in Utah before moving to Austin for the AmeriCorps program. I enjoy playing tennis, exploring new cities and cheering for the Cubs. I’m excited to be a part of an awesome organization and help increase the Foundation’s visibility in the Austin area.

Born and mostly raised in Texas. Relocated to Austin to serve with the AmeriCorps upon graduating from Houston Baptist University with a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. I have always had a passion for learning, and after having the privilege of experiencing the Andy Roddick Summer Program, I am delighted to spend the next year continuing to grow and learn with the Foundation!
