Roger Federer is in the running to be named the greatest athlete of all time. He is the winner of 20 Grand Slam singles titles—the most in male tennis history. Roger will be in Austin for one night only for an entertaining and thought-provoking conversation with former competitor, longtime friend, and Austin’s own Andy Roddick, chairman of the Andy Roddick Foundation.
The event will be moderated by NBC Sports commentator Mary Carillo. Mary has been awarded multiple accolades for broadcasting, including the Dick Schaap Award for Outstanding Journalism in 2010, as well as the Peabody Award, one of television’s highest honors, for her work on HBO’s documentary, “Dare to Compete: The Struggle of Women in Sport.”
In a addition to a conversation between two tennis greats, the evening will also feature a Q&A with the audience. The conversation will span a wide range of topics, including their shared tennis experiences and the importance of philanthropy in the sport and in life.
Proceeds benefit the Andy Roddick Foundation.
