We so proud to announce the Andy Roddick Foundation is this year's recipient of the Architect of Change Award bestowed by E3 Alliance as part of its Blueprint for Education Change.
The Foundation was chosen because of our leadership and work to take the time children spend outside the classroom to new heights.
We share this award with our valued partners at the KDK-Harmon Foundation and the City of Austin.
In an award letter, E3 Alliance President Susan Dawson writes:
"We all know that out-of-school (OST) learning is a huge part of a student’s success. Yet our region’s OST efforts have been scatter-shot and less strategic than they need to be, until you all stepped up and demanded that we bring our community into focus on this critical need. We are convinced that all the of the hard work and planning leading up to the creation of the Learn All the Time Network will pay generously for the future of our students. That’s why it is such an honor for us to honor together the KDK-Harman Foundation, Andy Roddick Foundation, and City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department as 2017 Architect of Change awardees for your work in eliminating achievement gaps in our region."
The award will be given during E3's Blueprint for Educational Change breakfast next month.
We want to extend congratulations to the Foundation's board members, staff and fellow colleagues who work so hard each and every day to improve student outcomes across Central Texas and far beyond.
