Retired tennis star Andy Roddick walks briskly through the casual West Austin eatery. A cap masks his searching eyes and sun-seared forehead. The best American male player of his generation — and one of Austin’s most celebrated citizens — then raises his head, folds his long legs under a table and orders eagerly. “Eating right isn’t part of my job description any more,” Roddick jokes readily. “As evidenced by the entire bowl of queso I just put down. It’s like kryptonite to me.”

ARF announces its new Board of Directors, assembled to help ARF achieve its mission to develop and inspire underserved youth through education and sports-based mentoring

The Andy Roddick Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of Mary Riggs as Director of Programs. Mary brings a strong history of developing successful programs for youth based non-profits and will make an immediate impact on the Foundation and its mission. 

Celebrities include MLB Legend Roger Clemens, Four-time Grand Slam Tennis Champion Jim Courier, PGA Golfer John Mallinger, MLB World Series Champion Kevin Millar, Nationally syndicated radio host Bobby Bones and ESPN Personality Jay Harris, with more to be confirmed.
